Plain-English money · No hype · No get-rich-quick

Free money tools that show you the real numbers.

Eight honest calculators — take-home pay, compound growth, mortgage, rental property, dividends & REITs, ETF fees, dollar-cost averaging, and crypto. No sign-up, no data collected, no shortcuts sold.

Ron, founder of Ron on Money

Hi, I'm Ron.

I started Ron on Money because the internet is drowning in money "gurus" promising overnight riches — and almost none of it is true. The real stuff is slower, plainer, and a lot more honest. That's what I make: clear explanations and free tools, with no hype and nothing to sell you a shortcut.

Replace this with your real story in your own words — who you are, your background with money and building tools, and why people should trust you. In finance, this is your single biggest credibility signal. Use your real name and a real photo.

About Ron on Money

Ron on Money exists for one reason: most money content online is hype, and hype is expensive. "Make $10k a month." "This one trick." "The banks don't want you to know." It's noise, and it costs regular people real money and real time.

I make the opposite. Plain-English explanations of how money actually works, free tools that show you your own numbers, and an honest answer even when the honest answer is "there's no shortcut."

Who I am

[Ron — your real name, photo, and background go here.] Write a few honest paragraphs: your history with money and with building financial tools, why you care about cutting through the hype, and what readers can expect. This is the most important trust signal on the whole site — in finance, Google and AdSense weigh a real, credible author heavily. Use your real identity, not a persona.

What you'll find here

  • Free tools — eight calculators, no sign-up and no data collection.
  • Plain-English guides — one money idea at a time, jargon translated.
  • Videos — the same honest take, on YouTube.

My promise

  • Educational, not advisory. I explain how things work. I don't tell you what to do with your specific money — that's a conversation for a licensed professional.
  • Sources cited. Figures come from official sources like the IRS and SSA, and I link them.
  • No hype, no dark patterns. No fake urgency, no "secret," no overnight-riches promises.

Disclaimer

Ron on Money provides general educational information only. It is not tax, legal, investment, or financial advice.

Every calculator gives an estimate based on simplified assumptions and the figures you enter. Real-world results depend on many factors the tools don't capture — actual tax situations, fees, market returns, local costs, and more. Investment and crypto values can fall as well as rise; past performance does not predict future results.

Don't rely on this site for filing taxes, valuing investments, or making financial decisions. Always confirm against official sources and consult a qualified professional licensed in your area.

I work to keep the calculators accurate but make no guarantee they are complete or error-free. Use of this site is at your own risk.

By using Ron on Money, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this disclaimer.
